Things to keep in mind

- Your driver may have to change the original order of visits depending on traffic conditions.
- You can decide to visit the Russian Market instead of the Central Market.
- In major tourist attractions, accredited guides generally offer their services at the entrance for an extra fee, so your driver is not allowed to accompany you and will be waiting near the exit.
- Visit durations are given for information purposes only and should allow you to visit all the stops in one day. However, you remain free to stay longer at some places or skip some others.
- Your driver’s vehicle represents his only source of income: thank you for taking good care of it.
- The Royal Palace is closed between 11am and 2pm and during special events. Visitors are not allowed in areas which are private or under renovation.
- To visit the Royal Palace and S21 (Tuol Sleng), please plan for adequate clothing. Make sure to bring opaque clothing that covers your breast, shoulders and legs. This dress-code concerns both men and women. Using a scarf to cover parts of the body is not allowed. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and socks as you may need to remove your shoes.
- Due to the dust on the road, feel free to bring a mask or a scarf to cover your noise when needed.
- A very good audio guide is available at S21 (on payment of an additional fee).
- You will be free to have lunch in the immediate vicinity of the visited sites. Your driver can also recommend you some addresses if needed.
